Prestige International Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Shinichi Tamagami, hereinafter “PI”) is pleased to announce the launch of the “On-Site EV Emergency Recharging Service”, which is operated and provided in cooperation with its consolidated subsidiary Prestige Core Solution inc. and other group companies, as a supplementary service to the “ENEOS Charge Plus Corporate Charging Membership Card” of ENEOS Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director President: Takeshi Saito; hereinafter “ENEOS”) from November 13.

We started the “On-Site EV Emergency Recharging Service” in 2022, which provides on-site recharging when an EV (electric vehicle) runs out of power during driving. Since then, the service area has been expanded to 47 prefectures nationwide, and as of October 2023, the service has been introduced by 11 companies including non-life insurance companies and automobile manufacturers.

The “ENEOS Charge Plus Corporate Charging Membership Card”, which will be newly available for our service, will allow corporate fleet EVs to be charged using ENEOS Charge Plus provided by ENEOS, as well as bulk billing and management on a per company basis. From November 13, the On-Site EV Recharging service will be automatically added to the card and the PI Group will be responsible for the entire service, from the receipt of the request to the recovery of the vehicle.

Services provided by the PI Group

When an “ENEOS Charge Plus Corporate Charging Membership Card” user runs out of power while driving an EV, our contact center receives a request for assistance, dispatches an on-site assistance service through Premier Assist, a subsidiary of the Group, and provides an EV-powered vehicle to the site. If on-site charging is not possible due to road conditions or truck deployment, the vehicle is transported to a location designated by the user. By providing integrated, high quality services from reception and dispatch to on-site support, we will be able to contribute to the added value of the card.

We will continue to develop services and systems with the aim of resolving problems required by changes in society and the environment as well as address new demand surrounding the mobility society.
