Prestige International Inc. (headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shinichi Tamagami) held a groundbreaking ceremony on April 10, 2025 for the Akita BPO Katagami Campus (Provisional Name) which is scheduled to open in August 2026.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by 37 people including Akita Prefecture Governor Takahisa Satake, Katagami City Mayor Yudai Suzuki and other people related to the Company and the construction project, who prayed for the safety of the construction work.
Akita BPO Katagami Campus (Provisional Name) is the fourth contact center in Akita Prefecture, and in preparation for its opening, Akita BPO Katagami Branch has been operating since June 2023. The company will also open a BPO center in Daisen City in 2024, bringing the total number of BPO centers in Akita Prefecture to five.
“Announcement of Finalization of The Basic Design for New Office Akita BPO Katagami Campus (Provisional Name)” which was released on January 10, 2025, has been designed with the concept of enriching the future of the region, and will be developed into an even more attractive area by creating an environment where women and young people can flourish in their local communities, enabling them to make the most of the area not only as a workplace, but also as a place where people can live and interact with each other.
The Group will continue to create jobs and revitalize the regions, as well as expand the business of the Group as a whole.
