PI Group, which operates BPO business under the group management philosophy “To listen to end-user (consumer) inconveniences and troubles, engage in business creation that will lead to solutions, and grow as a company that contributes by providing solutions to social issues through that development,” and JERA, a company driving pioneering zero CO2 emissions efforts in the energy sector, have been considering ways to combine their respective strengths to cooperate in moving toward zero CO2 emissions power consumption at PI’s BPO centers.

Going forward, PI will work with JERA to establish a roadmap to achieve zero CO2 emissions from electricity consumption at our BPO centers, including the gradual introduction of “24/7 Carbon-Free Electricity*” at our BPO centers through JERA Cross, a subsidiary of JERA, to reduce CO2 emissions.
